MDA is based on some laudable principles: to focus on business requirements over a particular technology platform, to enable rapid development and delivery, its emphasis on modelling. But any organization embracing it to the full would find it making a huge impact on the way it develops its software, so it's important to have considered all sides to the value proposition.
