Pragmatic Java clustering
Added by JavaPolis, last edited by JavaPolis on Nov 02, 2004  (view change)

Abstract

Pragmatic Java clustering: rather rarely today's J2EE deployments exploit the application server's clustering facilities (load-balancing, failover), even though these features were paid for very expensively. This session shows different clustering setups and applies them to WLS and JBoss. The session also shows clustering strategies for POJO based environments a la Spring. Eventually, the usage of hardware content switches is introduced.
