Bio

I am a Consulting Product Manager in the Server Technologies division at Oracle, focused on making sure our JDeveloper 10g toolset is the most productive way to build modern, business applications. In a nutshell, I see our mission as staying ahead of Microsoft Visual Studio on usability and developer productivity, while offering the advantage of deploying to the open, J2EE platform. My particular interests lie in adding as much built-in, declarative functionality as possible into our Oracle Application Development Framework so that building best-practices J2EE applications requires as little code as possible for a world-class result. I work both with our own internal Oracle Applications division, and hundreds of external customers, to help them get the most out of our frameworks and to learn from their feedback on how we can further improve them in the next version.
