Bio Tim Boudreau is a Staff Engineer with Sun Microsystems. He has worked in various capacities on NetBeans over the last six years, including open sourcing NetBeans and launching the original netbeans.org site, as an engineer on the NetBeans 3.5 performance team, and several years working as an engineer on the NetBeans core platform. He is the coauthor of NetBeans: The Definitive Guide, from O'Reilly and Associates, and currently works as an evangelist, teaching others how to write plugins, and writing documentation, sample applications and modules for NetBeans, and the occasional module that occasionally does something useful.
