BOFs

The Feathers of Birds Flock Together

Birds-of-a-Feather (BOF) sessions are smaller and more informal than technical and business sessions. They are typically led by one or two speakers and are held in the evenings. Some BOFs may open with a short presentation followed by a question-and-answer section, while others take the form of open, "round-table" discussions about particular topics of interest to the Java technology developer community.

BOF material

We've 2 BOF rooms where some chairs, a flip chart and LCD projector are made available.
Because of the informal character BOF sessions are not recorded. However used slides can be published on our wiki.

Call for Papers

Because of the huge interest we'll not do a "first come first served" speaker registration for BOFs and Quickies sessions. Instead people can send a presentation proposal for the mentioned events and based on the subject and submitted abstract the steering committee will select the appropriate talks.

If you're interested in a BOF or Quicky talk then please mail us and provide us following information

Event type : BOF or Quicky
Speaker name(s) and bio
Presentation references (if available)
Presentation title and abstract
