Location-based J2EE Application Development made simple
Abstract
On any given day, more than 1,000,000 people around the world use ESRI's geographic information systems (GIS) to improve the way their organizations conduct business. Spatially-enabled J2EE applications help model and map your world and support better decision making.
This session, targeted at spatially inclined Java developers, will begin with a brief introduction to GIS and then move on to give you an overview of building and deploying spatially-enabled J2EE applications using standard J2EE components (including JSF and EJB) and AJAX. Demos will be based on ArcGIS Server J2EE application developer framework and deployments to J2EE-certified containers. Come and see demonstrations of state-of-the-art GIS technology that can help you answer your location questions and make the most of your geographic and location-based data.
