Sudhakar Ramakrishnan is a product manager for ESRI's flagship product "ArcGIS Server", a server-based GIS technology. In the past, he has played the role of a senior architect leading the Enterprise J2EE architecture at ESRI and influencing Web-based GIS solution concept in the just released ArcGIS Server 9.2. Prior to ESRI, he worked at Oracle Corp. for 8.5 years in different capacities (from product development, to worldwide product marketing). He has delivered keynotes and spoken at a number of international conferences. His works include a number of award winning initiatives such as "Mastering J2EE Application Development Series" that attracted 500,000+ developers, "The Middleware Architecture Series", "The Hitchhiker's Guide to PHP". Prior to Oracle, he worked at Informix Software Inc. From Dec 1995 to June 2000, Sudhakar was the founder and president of Silicon Valley's Premier JUG – Mountain View Java Users Group.
