Developing Software like a band plays Jazz
Abstract
In the Eclipse project we were able to ship releases on time year after year.
Like many other effective teams we have adapted and evolved our practices and those we learned from the agile community along the way.
At the same time we have found that there are still many pain points when it comes to software development in an agile team.
Being tool smiths ourselves, we have naturally been asking what if we had an integrated tool set to address these pain points.
In this talk I'll reflect on the Eclipse way of software development and present the results of our "what if" exploration.
