Kijaro

Abstract

Kijaro is a java.net project that allows people to come together and implement ideas for language change in Java. The concept is to make it easy for people to dip in and try their idea.

There are currently four branches at Kijaro, each representing a different potential language change - FCM closures, abstract enums, properties and static interface implementation.

This BOF will briefly describe each of the branches, demonstrating code compiling using these extensions to Java. Enough time will be left for a discussion and questions as to how you can get involved and implement your favorite idea.
