Struts2

Abstract

Being the new kid on the block, there are many questions that new Struts2 developers have. This session will attempt to answer many of these, including: Why should I use Struts2 rather than Struts1, JSF, or other frameworks? How can I migrate a project from Struts1 to Struts2? What's the best way to start a new project? How do I do validation? How do I internationalize my application? What security options are available? While providing the answers to these questions you will learn the architecture of Struts2, as well as how to create and configure actions, ways to re-use application code, and how to access business services. We will also cover Web 2.0 techniques for Ajax and providing REST-based web services.
