I'm software engineer at CRS4, Center for Advanced Studies, Research and Development in Sardinia. CRS4 is an interdisciplinary research center developing advanced simulation techniques and developing innovative applications in the field of the Information and Communications Technology.

I'm member of CRS4's Network Distributed Application Group. I'm specialized in application design and development for Java ME and PersonalJava platforms on PDAs and mobile phones. I participated in the design of the cGML language for mobile cartography on J2ME devices. I have written more 20 scientific papers on mobile computing and applications presented at international conferences. In my spare time, I'm contributing editor for italian programming magazines DEV and Computer Programming. Finally, I am member of the Sardinian Java User Group (JUG Sardegna) and co-founder of the GULCh, one of the first and largest italian Linux User Group.
